This is one of two Indian trade guns that I purchased from a Canadian man who acquired them from the Indian Reserve in Manawaki, Quebec (letter will be included with rifle). This is a well marked  Hudson Bay piece with the Hudson Bay Tombstone Fox over EB on the barrel and lock. The lock is signed Parker Field & Co. 1875 .  (Sitting Bull carried a Parker Field & Co. 1870 Hudson Bay Trade Rifle) .  This gun has 30" barrel which is perfect for horseback. It's a known fact that after the Battle of the Little Big Horn Sitting Bull took his men and their family's into Canada where they stayed for the next 5 years. They faced starvation much of the time and ended up selling off many of their personal items including their firearms for food. A nice honest Indian Trade rifle that certainly should be included in any  Custer  Collection.
