A really great looking cowboy rifle and scabbard. The top barrel flat is stamped J.P.Lower-Denver ,Col. with the accompanying scabbard also stamped to a Denver dealer F.Mueller.   The rifle has seen typical western frontier use but is in pretty good shape as is the scabbard. The rifling appears pretty good . The action is still very smooth and crisp. The serial #62522 put's the date of mfg. at 1880. The wood to metal fit is very good.
