This Indian gun is in untouched condition. The gun was put together without a buttplate in true Indian fashion. It has a mdl. 1861 Colt musket lock which can still fire a percussion cap but no longer holds when cocked. As you can see in the photo's the gun is wrapped in two places on the forestock with what appears to be old harness leather. I bought this gun many years ago at the Denver show mainly because it just had such a great look.
