According to the one visible seial number ( 256070) this pistol was mfg.d' in early 1864 at the height of the Civil War. It's the rare 6 shot variation . All the cylinders are loaded and still retain partial caps. The action is frozen from years of exposure. We can only wonder what happened to the original owner. A really neat Civil War Relic in untouched condition.
