Without a doubt, one of the finest if not the finest pair of F & I War pistols on the market today. I just acquired them from an old eastern collection and they’re being offered to the collecting fraternity for the first time in years. The pictures really say it all .They’re just magnificent with NO replaced wood or parts. The 7 1/2" barrels are marked London and retains early English proof marks plus ‘Gandon’s’ PG cartouche. I would date these pistols in the 1730-40 period. This pair would be the centerpiece of any F & I War or Rev.War collection. These early guns are rare in brass but almost unheard of today in silver. A really great set of pistols and a great investment opportunity .
