Nice example of a Queen Anne pistol G. Gill-Richmond . These Queen Anne’s were used by British Officers here in America during the French & Indian War. The pistol is in pretty good condition and functions flawlessly. The furniture is all silver and in military motif’s. The butt cap is of the classic grotesque mask pattern. As you can see from the pictures the barrel still screws off for loading which is a feature you don’t see often as most are frozen solid. A pistol that fits nicely in any F& I War/ Rev.War collection.
I’ve also got a pair of Gill Queen Anne pistols listed on my site. The only difference is that this pistol has some nice raised carving around the barrel tang.
