I’ve had this neat Ghost-Dance shirt in my personal collection for many years. It’s made of white muslin and painted with designs that were meant to protect the wearer from their enemy’s bullets. There’s a similar shirt pictured on page 246 of ” The Plains Indian”(pictures included in photo’s). The shirt has had two minor seams open up and a minor hole which is a easy repair if you want to fix but I prefer to leave it as I found it. On the front of the blouse there are two sinew wrapped cones where feathers had at one time dangled. The dimensions are 34″ length x 24″ chest. This is a really great piece rarely seen for sale these days. Sold
