A special order pair of Queen Anne pistols by Ketland . They have a much slimmer graceful design than what you normally see, which is very appealing. The silver grotesque mask butt caps are hallmarked CF ( Charles Freeth ), Anchor and Lion . Charles Freeth worked in 1773-1774. The grips exhibit some beautiful silver wire inlay work. Dimensions o/a is 10 1/4″ . The screw off 4 1/4″ barrels exhibit 2 early English proof marks. The actions work well on both pistols. The pistols have taken on a beautiful aged patina.
