This attractive pistol is in very fine to excellent condition. Actually it’s one of the best one of these that I’ve ever handled. It was shipped from the factory on Dec.12,1872 to M.W. Robinson Co. N.Y.C, N.Y. They were S&W largest distributor. The .44 Russian cal. was very popular out West which is where most of these pistols ended up. The action is both smooth and crisp. It was originally in the Hank Williams Jr. collection and will come with a factory letter addressed to him . Also, a signed letter from him identifying the pistol by serial number and stating it was part of his own personal collection.
