The most famous Old West Town in the world is Tombstone,Arizona and the most famous date is Oct. 26 1881 when the gunfight at the O.K Corral took place.  I don't have to go into details here as everyone knows them by heart.  This City License was stamped August 10,1881 and signed by John P.Clum Mayor who also was editor of The Tombstone Epitaph (Newspaper). This license was good for 3 months so we know it was hanging in M .K. Kimball 's auction house on Allen St. at the same time the Earps and Clanton's were blazing away at each other at the O.K Corral.  They don't get better then this!
