This great Hawk has been one of my favorites for over 20 years. It’s diminutive in size with 6 1/4″H X 2 5/8″W Head. The 13 5/8″ stepped haft has a period old label which I’ve since protected with a clear plastic sleeve. It originally stated from St. Paul to St. Louis but the St. Louis is now gone. I’ll include a letter stating that it originally said St.Louis to the new owner. The old label states ” Piece Pipe while going from St. Paul …….Indian at Keokuh N……Aug.5,1874 .” This is what I can read but there’s more there for somebody with patience. The Head still retains it’s original hide gasket. A really attractive and untouched Hawk
