This neat Indian hide scrapper was originally part of the late Antique Road Show appraiser William Guthman’s Collection . I acquired this from Bill about 30 years ago. I believe it started life as a file. The Indians heated, shaped and sharpened the edge in order to use for scrapping hides. As you can see in the pictures it has a great look.
