These early .44 cal. Colt cartridge pistols are seldom found in this excellent condition as most of them went West and saw very heavy frontier use. As you can see from the pictures this pistol still exhibits a full cylinder scene and all matching serial numbers. The grips have almost all of their original factory finish. The frame and hammer have about 50-60% of their original factory case colors visible. The barrel retains 85-90% of it’s original factory blue finish as does the trigger guard. They don’t come much better than this pistol. Sold
