This is a large Folding Bowie Knife made by Robert Klaas and marked Soligen under his name on the blade. The knife is 12" open with a 7 1/2" blade and 4 1/2" handle. The blade is still very sharp and locks up tight with no wiggle. It comes with it's orignal hand tooled scabbard which is missing it's metal tip (easily replaced).  The grip slabs are made of tortoise shell and are nicely hand checkered.  This is a pretty handy knife that can be used as a utility knife when closed and a fighting knife when opened .
