​This is a pretty neat item. The brand is a QA for (Queen Anne). The iron head is 6 1/2″W x 5″T attached to a 14″ hand hammered twisted (for stength) iron shaft.  I would imagine at one time it had a wooden handle. The reign of Queen Anne was fairly short from 1702-1714.
