This wonderful Gettysburg Relic  is from a Enfield rifle. It was run over by something heavy enough to completely shatter the rifle such as a cannon.  The lock is frozen on half cock. The  faded tag identifies  the locks origins and  is obviously very old. It’s been in my personal collection for over 25 years.
