This is a Company owned shotgun issued to a fur trapper who worked for the firm.The barrel is marked with "Imperial #4" which was a company model and is 16 gauge.The gun has a small chip of wood missing at the toe and the ramrod is stuck so I’m sure it’s original.A hard frontier gun to find.
