These Mdl. 1842’s were the last of the single shot percussion pistols to receive a gov’t. contract. This one is the finest I’ve ever seen and would rate in excellent + condition.  The lock and barrel both have matching 1852 dates.  The action is crisp and clean. An impossible pistol to upgrade.
