This neat western cowboy 'relic' was manufacutred in 1874. It exhibits all matching serial #'s 1321. The cattlebrand on the right grip is still pretty pronounced. The original 7 1/2" barrel was shortened to 4 3/4" during it's period of use. The pistol still cocks and fires but the half cock is worn. Civilian pistol in this early serial range are much rarer than martial pistols and this is one of the earliest I've ever offered for sale. A gun that was there for the opening of the West !
