This early Sharps Buffalo Rifle has a great western look. It's got a Rocky Mountain front sight with a Buckhorn rear sight of which the right post is broken off. The double set triggers work but are a little stiff. It's got a hair line crack in the receiver tang which is stable and solid. There's no evidence of a stock crack so the it's from over tightening the screw. This is quite common on Sharps rifles. The bore has a very good shine to it and sharp rifling. The .45 Cal. barrel is 28" with a clear "Old Reliable".
