A 1756 French Officer’s Fusil with correct 40"barrel and all brass furniture. This is a next to impossible musket to find today. This particular musket not only saw service in the French & Indian War but also in the American Revolution. This we know by the U.S surcharge on the barrel. Whether this was a captured musket that stayed here after the F & I War or came over with the French troops during the Revolution we’ll never know . It is all correct and would make a nice addition to any Colonial collection.
