These Colt Baby Dragoons saw extensive use in the Old West primarily during the California Gold Rush. This is one of the nicer ones I've ever offered for sale. It's a late production (1850) pistol with the desirable and rare feature of a loading lever. All the serial numbers match and the bore is bright and shiney. The grips are in great condition retaining 90% of the original factory varnish and 95% tarnished silver on the brass trigger guard and backstrap. The cylinder scene is one of the best I've ever seen on a Baby Dragoon retaining 98%+ scene. The barrel has traces of blue in it's protected area's . The loading lever and frame have strong flashes of rainbow case colors. Overall the pistol is vg-fine condition.
