The engraving on this pistol exhibits the fine workmanship of one of the masters more than likely L.D. Nimschke himself. The pearl grips have a beautiful iridescence and the raised carved Texas Longhorn really jump out at you. They are a perfect fit so I’m assuming they were put on by the factory as well as the engraving. The engraving is crisp and sharp with very little wear. All the serial numbers match and the pistol was mfg. in 1889. The action functions nicely and locks up fine. The 4 3/4"barrel has a beautiful shinny bore with great rifling. This great .45 has it all and would display nicely in any collection.
