This a pretty scarce item for the Rev.War collector.  It was formerly in the Wm. Guthman(Antique Roadshow) collection. I don't know anything about Rev.War straight razors but I do know old labels and this was is certainly period.  It is held to the case by old twine and has form fitted itself to the case over the years.  It states that this "Razor and cartridge used in the American Army 1776".  The cartridge is no longer with it but still a super item worthy of displaying in the best Rev.War collections.​
