A very unusual configuration to the handle sets this piece off nicely . The 5 1/2 ” double edged blade is razor sharps and still exhibits ALL of it’s original polish. The highly polished wooden handle is held by 4 brass pins and has a escutcheon in the middle. It’s still retains it’s original sccabard which is worn on the edges.  I don’t recollect ever seeing a nicer blade on a 19th century knife.
