A really excellent + condition U.S issued new mdl. Remington Army. With the exception of the loading lever, whose finish has mostly flaked, the pistol retains 95% of it's original factory blue finish. The hammer retains most of it's original factory case colors. The serial numbers (55997) all match and the bore is shining as bright as the day it left the factory. The action is crisp and smooth. All the proper martial inspector initials are present. The grips are beautiful with a nice crisp cartouche. I beleive this wonderful pistol is unfired as the inside of the cylinder chambers still exhibit most of their original factory blue finish. A hard gun to find in this condition.
