This Confederate shotgun was made by "W.Richards London made for Courtney Tennant & Co." and so marked on the barrel rib. They were importers of military goods for the Confederacy and were located in Charlestown, S.C . This gun is in really good shape for a Confederate piece and is only missing a sliver of wood on either side of the forestock. The locks function perfectly and are nicely engraved. Also, the gun retains it’s original ramrod. Confederate South Carolina pieces are very hard to come by and this is a good one.
