If you like an untouched attic gun this is it. The musket is black and so is the furniture. This musket saw alot of use as the touchhole opened up enough as to require re-bushing. The forestock has had some wood replaced in it’s period of use. I’ve left it the way I found it and it’s brand new to the collecting fraternity. This is a type II Marine musket which were issued out with nose caps and steel ramrods (refer to pg.241 " American Shoulder Arms" by Geo.Moller). The lock is marked Tower and has a crown over GR and the correct trois foil frizzen spring. These muskets were used exclusively in the American Colony’s during the French & Indian War.
