This wonderful set of pistols was made by Richard Wilson who was born in 1703 and died in 1766. He became a master gunmaker in 1730. The pistols are signed Wilson on the frame and exhibit his maker mark of RW under * between the London proof marks. The cannon shaped screw off barrels are a shade under 2". As you can see in the photo's both pistols exhibit seven silver military inlays which are finely engraved and are absolutely beautiful. Worthy of the finest F & I War- Rev. War Collection.
