The dimensions of this wonderful Ledger drawing is 23" x 7 1/2".  It's nicely matted in a frame of 29" x 13 1/4". The ledger paper is dated 1878 in a couple of places on the back.  The picture depicts two 'Buffalo Hunters'  steadying their Rifles on cross sticks with two Indians  in the rear, one of which is running up to the hunters . Notice how the artist simulated running by coloring two sets of legs different colors.  The hunters are behind some boulders on the opposite side of a stream from the Buffalo herd. Don't know who the artist was who drew this but he was pretty good. I've had this historic drawing hanging in my gunroom for many years.
