This is a really good looking Western Plains Indian Pipe Tomahawk.  The 21 1/2" original osage orange haft has over 40 squire shank brass tacks decorating it with the unusual feature of finger grooves cut into the area behind the head.  The Hawk exhibits a wonderful untouched patina. The iron head is 8 1/2" with a early large rimmed bowl.  The haft still has most of it's original leather hide retaining gastic. A wonderful all original early western Pipe Tomahawk.
