The Royal Highland Regiment  identified pistols are the most desirable and hard to come by pistols of the French & Indian – Rev. War period .  The Royal Highland Regiment was also known as the 42nd Regiment (Black Watch) . Please refer to the cover sheet for some of  the battles they participated in. The maker is Bissell which is clearly marked on the lock which has smooth crisp action. As you can see in the pictures the pistol is in very good condition. Sold
