I've had this wonderful hat in my collection for years.  It's all original and in excellent condition for it's age but also worn where it should be worn.  The really nice thing about it is the King George III button on it's side. This dates it to the period of the French & Indian War and the American Revolution. Whether it was worn by a American officer in the French & Indian War or a British officer in the American Revolution we'll never know.  A really great addition to any collection.
