Totally untouched Rev.War American musket . It's American stocked and all the furniture is a scaled down copy of the British Long Land pattern furniture. The English lock has been scrubbed of all external British markings while the internal flat is stamped WG 66 (William Grice) . The 39"American  barrel is .75 cal. with a double baluster at the breech. The musket has acquired a beautiful even overall patina. I've included some info. in the photo section taken from Geo.Moller's American Military Shoulder Arms and Bill Ahearn 's Musket's of the Revolution. Moller's states barrel lenghts vary from 38"- 45" with 42" being the most common encountered. There have been a few of these muskets with scrubbed William Grice locks that have showed up with New York markings. A really super looking American Rev.War musket.
