This beautiful Rev.War sword was formerly in the William H. Guthman (Antique Road Show) collection.  It has the name Wolcott carved in it's curly maple handle. In Connecticut, which is where Wm. Guthman lived, there were a few Wolcott's in the Rev.War. The 25 1/2" blade is in very good condition and you can see where it sat for decades partly exposed out of it's scabbard . The scabbard is missing it's throat and tip but its original to the sword. It will come with it's original Bonhams and Butterfields  auction tag stating that it was part of the William H. Guthman Collection.  A rare identified American made Rev .War sword from a renowned collection.
