This is a really beautiful 17th century silver snuff box.  It measures 1 5/8″ across X 5/8″ deep. The engraving on the lid depicts a unicorn in a ramshorn over a winged globe. It’s preceded by I.L and followed by P.S over genant. This sits on top of a box containing (3) 3 pedaled  flowers with a flowing leaf design on either side. Underneath are the initiats I.G. followed by the date 1674.  The side panels are hallmarked twice with a *. This is a very attractive 17th century artifact that could use some in depth research.
