This good looking Colt was manufactured in 1876, which would make it one of the first ones to be available on the civilian market. Most of the ones produced in 1874-75 were government contract pistols. This pistol exhibits a absolutely beautiful set of Steerhead carved ivory grips. The action is crisp and smooth. It retains 80-85% factory nickel finish some flaking and minor abrasions from sitting in the holster. The Slim Jim holster is a perfect fit and really sets this pistol off . A super attractive western outfit!
