In my opinion these 1875 Remington's are the most attractive pistols of the cowboy era. This pistol has the 44 designation stamped on the frame. The action is very crisp and locks up tight. The barrel retains 90-95% of the original factory nickel finish where as the frame retains about 60%. The finish is mostly gone on the backstrap. Where as the trigger guard retains about 95% nickel and the cylinder 90%. The grips are in great shape retaining most of their factory finish. All in all a good looking cowboy gun.
