​A wonderful piece of American Folk art from the Whaling era.  ​It's 4 3/4" tall with a 1 3/4" x 1" base. One side exhibit's what would appear to be the sailor's sweetheart while the obverse side has a military initialed (HLB) shield over a Eagle's head , Anchor, and two Cannon's . One side has a Vine Pattern while the other has a Lighthouse.  This beautiful whaletooth has developed a nice mellow patina.
