A really nice and hard to find Civil War Colt.  All matching visible serial numbers with a factory ‘E’ under the serial number for engraving. The engraving is crisp and sharp .The ivory grips are a perfect fit and I’m sure are original to the pistol. You’ll find factory engraved ’49’s,’51’s and ’60’ Colts but very few ’62’s. This pistol was mfg. at the height of the Civil War in 1863.
