This sword was formerly part of the Stanley B. Smullen’s  Collection and is one of the subject swords written about and pictured in his article for ‘Man at Arms’ Vol.33,No.1,2011.  The title of the article is "Cast Brass Mounted Swords of the Philadelphia Region" ‘The So-Called Prahl Sword’.   A copy of the article will go with the sword.  The sword’s in pretty good shape but the scabbard could use some work.  All in All a pretty nice early American sword  from a good collection.
