This is a very interesting and unique Hawk. The head measures 8 1/4" with a 13 1/2" haft.  It appears to be all original with a well balanced feel.  I don't recollect ever seeing another Hawk with this unique shaped head. These were standard equipment on the frontier and were first carried by our Militiamen in the American Revolution.
