A beautiful cased set of French percussion pistols sold by one of the premier French dealers of the 19th century.  The case is 18" x 9 1/2" with a form fitting interior. The pistols have 8 3/4" damascus barrels and are of .72 cal with macro groove rifling. .  The locks and all the iron furniture exhibit some very fine engraving.  Along with some beautiful carving on the grips.  The interior of the case is all intact with the exception of two dime size area's in the lid. The action on both pistols is very smooth and crisp. The set consists of a .72 cal bullet mold, flask ,screw driver, pick ,brush, full cap tin (Amoreres cannelees fendnes – Qualite Superierieure) ,9- .72 cal. bullets.  This is a really attractive set of high grade pistols from the age of dueling.
