​Civil War LeMats â€‹are among the most coveted of all antique firearms and this is one of the Best I've ever seen. All the visible serial numbers (1952) match with the exception of the loading lever which is unnumbered and may be a correct replacement. The Confederate soldiers who carried these pistols in many cases threw the levers away as they had a tendency to hang the gun up in the holster. The condition of the pistol is excellent + retaining 90% of it's original vivid factory blue. The grips are as nice as the day they left the factory with sharp checkering. The action is smooth and crisp.  The BEST of the BEST!
