A really outstanding Confederate shotgun and all original including it’s original ramrod. The condition on this shotgun is excellent.  A Confederate "T.W.Cofer" pistol is a rare gun but a shotgun by him is even harder to find especially in this condition.  The stock is really pleasing with a lot of fiddleback in the wood.The "T.W.Cofer" name on the barrel is filled with gold gilding.The shotgun without a doubt was a most effective weapon in the hands of a Confederate Cavalryman.   Unlike most Confederate guns that you find which are pretty used up this shotgun was well cared for.
