This is the first Austrian Carbine I’ve ever owned in original Flintlock. All of what I’ve observed over the years have been percussion carbines that we imported during our Civil War. This carbine is doubly rare as it has the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania ownership stamps on both it’s stock and barrel. The gun is in absolutely excellent condition and may even be unfired. Certainly looks like it sat in a Pennsylvania arsenal all it’s life.
