This magnificent pair of pistol’s just came on the market after over 60 years in a private collection.  They are as close to mint as any pair I’ve ever seen. The long slender barrels are 13 1/4" with a wedding band in the middle. The serpentine  sideplates are iron as is all the furniture. Both pistols have the number 4 on their barrel tangs.  I would date these pistols  in the 1730-40 period. Please refer to the pictures as they tell the story.  The Best of the Best.
